The queen honey bee can lay up to 2000 eggs in one day!

The average colony will use up to 25 kilograms of honey over the course of winter, the same amount of energy could be used to power a 40-watt light bulb continuously!

Honey bees have poor distance vision, but the rate at which their eyes can comprehend images is far faster than humans. This means that if honey bees watched TV, they would see a picture, then darkness followed by another picture!
